Halloween '09

I had a lot of fun this Halloween. I dressed up this year as Little dead riding hood. I took Aden trick or treating and after that went to Lorinda's for a few and caught up with some good friends and one of the most beautiful babies I've seen! What a blast!

Wow! What a game! A sea of red in the seats, what a beautiful site! I just finished watching the Niner's game, (against the Seahawks), and it was just that-they dominated! I absolutely loved it! Due to my DVR I have been able to watch football and I am loving it. Without my DVR I would miss games even if I have the day off, yesterday I was too sick and slept most of the day-"I love DVR!" I used to love football like this and since working full-time for the last 11 years, I have lost touch. I am so happy to have a DVR and a plasma-not only can I watch the games the picture is beautiful! I have been scaring my cat Greg a little, because I am a little vocal when it comes to sports. He ran away once and then just jumped when I shouted from then on. I am so proud of my team, I think that has definitely been a part of my excitement for the game, they are playing so well! Yes, I know it has only been 2 games, but so far I love what I see. -Side note, since 1991 65% of the teams that started with 2-0 went into the play-offs.- Since the last time I actively watched football they have changed some rules...kinda strange and sometimes I have a hard time following, by no means do I know all the rules of football. I tried watching last week's Raiders game and was bored beyond belief, I guess the end was good, but I couldn't hang that long. I am in awe of Frank Gore #21 this last game first he ran 79 yards for a touchdown and then again-11 seconds into the third quarter on the very first play, he ran in 80 yards, (a career best), for a touchdown!!!!!! Altogether he had 207 rushing yards, only 5 yards short of his career best. He would have beat it for sure, but was taken out early in the beginning of the third quarter after rolling his ankle. This game marked only the second 200+ yard game he has played in his career! I know I am going on, but I am so excited for our team! Final 23-10!

Giant dream

I had a dream last night about giant models taking over the world. It was really strange. They were all so beautiful and Tyson Beckford showed up. I told him I used to have a crush on him and carried around his picture from People's Most Beautiful People in my binder in high school. They were evil at first but then starting being nice to us and laid down to talk to everyone. Then I went to Bend, Oregon and hung out downtown by the lake. Another part of the dream was trying to escape these "bad people" and I had 2 cages with all sorts of animals in them, rats, hamsters, turtles, snakes, fish too..I think and there was a hole in one of the cages so I spent the whole time putting the animals that escaped from the cage back in the cage before they got out and alerted the "bad people" from finding us. I don't know what that was all about, but that is what happened.

Grateful

I wanted to write a blog about some of the little things in life that make me happy. This things make everyday life a little easier and they really make my day sometimes. So in no paticular order, here I go;
-When the Brita filter in the fridge is completley full and I go to refill it and the water pours out quickly,(weird, but oddly satisfying).
-There is no proper way to say this, but a really good poo!
-When I am eating a sandwich, I eat all the crust off first and once I get to the "heart" of the sandwich, I get really happy. Sometimes I think, if I were to die right after I finish that last bite, I'd be pretty happy!
-That Baskins and Robbins commercial, that you would think would be really annoying but it isn't for me, where all the cakes and people and animals on the cake are dancing to "Ice cream and cake..." something or other. It is like a mini dance party for me when that commercial is on and I can't help but dance a little.
-Anytime Aden says I love you first, (unprovoked) and in a quite room. It is the best feeling.
-Making a healthy meal for my family.
-Popping a really full blemish.
-Seeing a red-headed child, of course all kids make me smile, but I remember what it was like to be little with red hair and get picked on and I feel a special kinship with them.
-The next day after I clean my car and I catch a glimpse of it and it is so clean and shiny.
-Making a kid smile or laugh.
-When Aden wants to cuddle.
There are many more of course, but that is all I can think of for now. My life is not perfect, but no one's life is perfect. I have a very good life and I am happy and grateful for all I have and that I live where I do.

Bad dreams

Jake said this morning that I was squirming and grunted and trying to move around this morning when I was asleep. I was having a dream where I was part of a group of people that were up to no good. I don't know why, but we were up to no good. I don't know why, but it was Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker and other faceless people. We drove up in an old wood paneled station wagon and parked infront of an airport. We were going to get on a plane and wanted to just ditch the car, but then a guy came up to us and asked us what we were going to do with car-oh and the guy was holding a newborn. I figured we could just give this guy the car and I thought that was what Matthew was going to do when he walked up to the guy, but instead knowing that this guy with the baby was a cop in street clothes, Matthew shot the guy in the head. Then we went into the "airport" and it turned out to be my work. Then I saw one of the employees and I was trying to say hi to them and this one employee kept answering me with really short,loud and curt answers. I kept trying to understand why this employee didn't like me and it was really bothering me. I have celebrity dreams all the time. I think I will blog whenever I have celebrity dreams.

I still remember a dream from about 4 years ago with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. I don't know what I was referring to in the dream, but I kept telling Tom Cruise..."You just don't understand Tom Cruise!" I told him several times. I know there is a lot he doesn't understand so it's not something I can narrow down to a certain "something". I think it is pretty funny.
